The objective of the Junior Board is to support the overall mission, programs and services of Camp Fire Alabama.
   
                                                   

Board Members

Camp Fire Alabama’s Junior Board consists of a dynamic group of young professionals, ranging in age from 21 to 40.  Members demonstrate their commitment by volunteering their time to raise critical funds for Camp Fire Alabama programs and services. To date, the Junior Board has helped Camp Fire raise almost $30,000 for program and service initiatives provided to children, youth and families in our community.

What's the time/financial committment?

Each membership term is one year. Included is attendance of the following:

  • Quarterly board meetings held the second Tuesday in January, April, July, and October

  • Annual meeting to elect officers and committee members

  • Committee meetings

  • Special events

  • $50 annual membership dues

Recruitment Process

  • Complete and return the application

  • The governing Board will vote on each applicant and pass approved applications on to the Jr. Board

  • Member elections will occur each October at the Jr. Board annual meeting
